Architect |
| Responsibilities includes but not
limited to the following: |
 |
Manage small,
medium and enterprise sized engagements using
project life cycle methodology |
|
Serve as lead architect in IT projects to
implement an updated technology foundation for
Enterprise customers |
|
Assessment of business requirements and develop
technology roadmaps based on the requirements |
|
Communicate key elements of one or more
technology architectures to technical and
business audiences |
|
Review the architecture design of key
application projects to ensure alignment with
the enterprise standards, processes, procedures
and target architecture/roadmap |
|
Develop and
advise solution architecture and design for
existing and future projects |
|
Explore and select new
technologies and products for integration into
the solution and/or design and development
process |
|
Lead, mentor
and work with Web Application Developers to
define scope and implement solutions to
customers |
|
Manage application releases
and ensure quality before promoting changes to
production systems |
|
Formulate software
development related documentation such as SRS,
functional specifications, ERD, etc that will be
the basis for the development of the application |
|
Contribute to best-practice
development environments, including source code
control, build/deploy/test environments,
test-driven development, etc |
|
Identify new
customer and project opportunities within
existing customer base |
|
To stay abreast of new
software development technologies
|
|
Moderate to heavy traveling to customer's
location and work for long hours |
| Qualifications required: |
|
|
MUST HAVE
3+
years experience in solutions architecting for
Enterprise customers based on
multi-technology integration such as PHP, MYSQL, Apache, .Net
Framework,
IIS, AJAX, Sharepoint, XML, etc |
|
MUST POSSESS a
Diploma /
Advanced Diploma / Higher Diploma, Bachelor's
Degree or Professional Degree
in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical
Engineering or any related
fields |
| Skills required: |
|
MUST HAVE strong
understanding of the relationships between
processes, data and technology. |
|
MUST POSSESS
proven technology project
management skills with sufficient exposure to
latest technologies like J2EE, Application
servers, Database management systems, reporting,
and analytical software, etc. |
|
MUST POSSESS
client relation
skills, ability to understand client needs, and
able to drive tasks to successful completion |
|
MUST POSSESS
strong
presentation and training skills; ability to
interact with technical and non-technical
personnel |
|
MUST POSSESS
very strong understanding of
web technologies: sessions/cookies/SSL/form
processing. |
|
MUST POSSESS
the ability to work in both
Linux and Windows environments. |
|
MUST POSSESS
strong
understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
(SDLC) or similar framework |
|
MUST BE independent, can
work without supervision and in a team as well
as aggressive |
|
MUST BE
dynamic,
motivated, result oriented and able to handle
software development challenges as well as work
on tight schedule |

MUST HAVE
good team work with strong influencing skills. |

MUST POSSESS strong oral

as well as meet project deadlines |

MUST HAVE the ability to

MUST HAVE strong understanding of common enterprise-level
software development technology terms and concepts as well
as hands-on skills in as many areas listed below:

Development platform and
tools (ie; PHP 4/5, JAVAScript, IIS, .Net
framework, C#, Visual Studio, AJAX, etc)

Directory Service (ie; Active Directory,
LDAP, etc)

Database system (ie;
MYSQL, SQL Server, etc)

Possess professional certification
such as Zend Certified Engineer, Certified
MySQL Developer (CMDEV), Microsoft Certified
Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft
Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD),
Certified
Software Development Professional (CSDP) or any
relevant software development certification |
|
Possess strong background in
solutions design and verification |
|
Strong exposure
to Web Services, XML, XSLT, AJAX, SOA, JEE5, JSF,
Open JPA, EJB 3.0 |
|
Possess strong knowledge and
implementation experience of W3C Web Standards
|
